Re: How many chances do you give a new series?

There's no set time period, but if I've been watching a show for more than a couple seasons, I'm going to find it awfully difficult to give up even if I'm completely bored or dissatisfied with it. I always think, β€œIt COULD get better" even if that isn't likely.

When I'm just starting a new show I'm less likely to keep watching if I don't dig it. I'll usually give shows at least a couple of episodes before I clock out, but I've quit before that in certain cases.

Movies...well, since they're shorter I find them easier to sit through even when bad, and even if I'm not getting it I might finish just to see what happens.

Books, depends, but I'm pretty quick to stop reading fanfic that I don't like. (Sometimes I don't make it two paragraphs.)
