Yes, it ducks for his family. But what about all the families of the people who've suffered because of him? Honestly, did you give a shit when Saddam was hanged? No because he was a monster who made countless people suffer. Total shitstick made countless women suffer, I want his end to be painful.

This is a childish reaction, a selfishness that places importance on retribution over the end of others' suffering.

I honestly did not feel a thing when Saddam or Osama died. But just because I was numb doesn't mean I took pleasure in the news of their executions. Yes, it's wonderful they can't personally hurt others anymore, and in the end, maybe they do "deserve" to suffer. But who does that help, really? It doesn't mean they're going to start genuinely giving a shit who they hurt, and GOING OUT OF YOUR WAY! to MAKE SURE! that THIS CRETIN! LEARNS a LESSON! and FEELS A FRACTION! of the PAIN! HE INFLICTED! on OTHERS! does not make anyone a better person, does not bring closure to the people hurt by him, and it definitely won't make the next guy stop and go, "Hm, maybe I shouldn't do that, it is painful and shitty to do to others and it probably will not end well for me."
