Re: Rant thread
tldr they said (our group) wouldn't be getting a pay increase because we got one at start of year. just found out basically everyone except me (and potentially 2 others) did get a pay increase. which is very unfair as i (and probably the other 2) exceeded all criteria.
have quizzed the other 2, 1 has responded that we will talk about it as he is concerned and gave a great suggestion on who to talk to. Because i'm on leave i can't do anything about it and while my first instinct was to talk to my manager about it, i think it is actually beyond my manager. so i guess manager will get more of an "FYI they said this but then others got it anyway so X and I are gonna go speak to the coordinator (of our group) on why we didn't progress.
