If by butthurt you mean incredibly disappointed by how bad it turned out to be, then yes.

Man, I still remember how much I loved the leaked first episode and how cool and awesome I thought it was, especially Korra. Shame that all went to shit.

S1 became pretty shitty once the love triangle bullshit was introduced. First episodes were cool.

I meant the Aang series.

I like them both, but they are also both occasionally terrible, nonsensical and cringe-worthy. Aang's seasons are not any better than Korra's.

The first is actually better because the characters got to be developed, we didn't have romance shoved in our faces (Aang's crush on Katara was obvious and couldn't really be misinterpreted), and the writing overall was better because Mike didn't write most of the episodes and they had a head writer who knew what he was doing.

Then no, it's not nostalgia googles because I watched Korra and Avatar at the same time. I had never watched Avatar before but Korra looked promising so I gave the leaked episode a chance and loved it so much that I decided to start watching Avatar.

Actually from what I'm seeing, the people who dislike this show are very pushy about making sure everyone knows they think its bad. Even to the point of rudely coming into someone saying they like it with "WELL ACTUALLY IN MY OPINION."

That comes with having strong feelings about something. Stans on the other hand are the ones dismissing negative opinions as 'lol, haters', 'haters are so silly', 'haters are so butthurt' etc.

A lot of people dislike the show for actual reasons, deal with it.

Say as many times as you want that you like or hate the show. It's fine, that's why we are here, to discuss things.

Dismissing other people's opinions as silly haters/stans whatever because you're butthurt about those people disliking/liking something that you like/hate: wrong.

I don't have a problem with people loving or defending the show. But don't pretend that comments like "fuck the haters in this thread" are fine.
