LOL, sorry it's a bit OT, but my brain parsed your last line as "Bane died to make Kajinscendre feel better". As if you were saying that you wanted to imagine that that Bane had died for some other reason, not just to make you feel better.

Random, I know. But it makes me think a bit more of Bane. Perhaps he had a kindly heart after all.
