Re: How many chances do you give a new series?

Depends on why I don't like it. If there's some aspect of it that bothers me (like a single character or a plot point) I usually Google and see if they're going to change that at some point. If yes, I continue. If no, I drop it.

If it's just bad I'll drop it immediately. That's not something that's going to change in the forseeable future.
