We kinda did need to see her with another Doctor. She saw Ten once when, as per his idiom, he was the harbinger of her death and undeath, then spent all her time with 11. However, when she did fatally meet Ten she also said she met more than one other incarnation. Now it can't be any pre-Tens because she said she'd never seen him younger in his timeline, so it has to be at least one post-11 Doctor. Just to square the timey-wimey she needed to interact with Capaldi, but I'll admit that as much as I originally liked her I am ready to dump her in a ditch. Mainly because I'm just burned out on Moffat, I'm done with him. Everything this season has sucked. And the last bit of last season too. I'd watch a sequel to Kill the Moon though, I liked that.
