Re: just watched the latest episode of Gravity Falls

I did! I'm so excited for it. It looks so amazing, I can't wait. I also love this concept of "the world ending in weirdness", rather than straight-out drama that other world-ends go for. It's great.

Haha yeah, I kind of wish she'd go steady with him, but doesn't look like we'll get that. He was a decent sort, though. It makes sense that they're not really going with a whole ~romantic~ plotline, and I think the show is better for it. They're kids, you know? No need to shove Twu Wuv or anything.
Oh mannnnnnnn I loved the Several Timez episode. It was absolutely hilarious and so spot-on with boy bands. In general I like that the show lets Mabel have her crushes, and doesn't treat her as dumb or anything for them.

I do love that the show really emphasizes that what /really/ fucks things up is when there's lack of trust and honesty, not just somebody being less brainy. United we stand and all that.
