Text: This is honestly my favorite song of all time. I've learned to sing both parts, translated it into French, and always have it on my playlist when I'm working on a big writing project. It's both incredibly romantic and incredibly sad to me; I'd be happy to have it as both my first dance at my wedding and played at my funeral.

Secret because a) this is a little much, and b) I'm pretty sure most people categorize this song as "angsty teen" music. I can't help it that I'm a sucker for violins in rock music!

Bonus secret: Despite all this, I don't like the music video. The visuals don't match the tone at all.

Transcript: Normally the first hint of someone using Social Justice Buzzwords to say why you shouldn’t ship something I think they’re full of it. Telling someone they’re “Problamatic” isn’t going to change their fandom preferences.

But when this one person is always going on and on about how the Doctor ‘saved’ Rose from her terrible abusive relationship with Mickey and what a terrible monster Mickey was to her.

And also keeps talking about how Lee needs to time travel back and save Donna from her terrible sham of a marriage.

I side-eye them hard. And I secretly think they just have a problem with interracial couples.

IV had a handful of people doing demon designs, which I think was part of the problem even before the designs themselves - it didn't have the same consistent feel as when it's all in the hands of one artist. (And I didn't care for a lot of the designs that were used, either, although there were a few that I liked.)

That said, OP - have you seen the scans from Famitsu? They seem to be having Doi clean up a lot of the designs from IV; while I'm still not super fond of the designs themselves, I feel like his redraws improve some of them a lot, from the ones we've seen so far. Merkabah's never going to be a favorite of mine, but the Doi version looks a lot cleaner. Not quite the same as having Kaneko back, but an improvement over IV, IMO.

TBH anon, I think some writers do expect that the first thing out of everybody's mouths will be "oh don't change it, it looks so good!"

But that's not how one improves as a writer, and I know because I had betas like you who were willing to say, "you need to fix X, Y, and Z", and they were usually right, too.

OMG Koitouso secret!

I'm just here to shed a tear because I translated that manga. Nobody's ever heard of any of the manga I've translated, lol. Who reads Mangabox? No one, that's who. I'm glad to see that SOMEONE is reading this stuff.

Anyway, I feel you on the short chapters. I don't think this manga is supposed to be about building relationships; rather it's about the reader slowly being let in on the secrets that each of the characters keep. Once all of the secrets are out the manga is going to be over.

Mangabox has a history of cancelling titles early - it cancels titles if they are not getting enough hits. So I'm worried the slow build is not going to get the payoff we've been waiting for. So everyone go read it now so they don't cancel it, lol. Also so I can keep getting paid for this. >_>; I need money.

You're right, Inaho was like a robot, it's hard to hate someone who doesn't have a personality. Asshime on the other hand had some personality, that's why people hate her. I can hate a dog or a cat but I won't hate a toaster.
