Yes mostly because there are only 6 of us so you sort of half to. And we all get on really well except for one coworker. But she is in her office most of the time so yay!

We just talk about random shit all day. Sometimes one of us will bring in food to share with everyone.

Well, I mean... I just talk to them? I don't know. It's a very casual office, it's not hard to just wander over and shoot the shit, or grab lunch with somebody.

I get pretty much all of my social interaction done at work tbh. Most of us get along very well and we have a lot of shared interests that talk about. I'm going to be kind of sad when I have to leave my job at the end of the year (I work in a tutoring center on my campus and I'm graduating this year) because I don't think I'll ever have that kind of work environment again

I help the others at work spend time together rather than me spending time with them. Well, technically that is true. it is more like I called in an anonymous tip saying that when they were on their foliage viewing trip saying they were carrying cocaine to Canada. One of them got strip searched and they were all held overnight at the border. I honestly never thought the cops would take it so far, it was such an obvious prank.

A bit. Not sure if more or less than normal. The only issue is that a lot of us have different shifts, so we're not necessarily around at the same time in order to socialize.

Outside work, not so much. While it would be nice to have work friends in theory, I work for my parents, so I already have a lot of work in my personal life and don't really need more of it.

Sure. Mostly ask how their projects are going or what they did on the weekend or talk about the most recent cold going around. Steer hard clear of politics unless directly pertaining to a research paper.

It took me a long time but I have socialized with coworkers outside of business. One time went on a trip to Jungle Jim's in Cleveland, another time to check out some social gathering. But my life has gotten more complicated recently which makes going out difficult. And I find that while I like my coworkers, I don't always like the chit-chat hanging out.

Yeah, coffees and ask them how their day was or their weekend or their partner or their kids or their pets or whatever.
