If the games industry and gaming fandoms are harmful unwelcoming and belittling to women do you thing that the pop music industry is the opposite? Is the way men and boys what are treat in pop similar to the way women are treat in games?

This isn't a hypothetical question.

No fuck off. Men are not raped for being part of pop culture. Men are not killed for creating games. Mens bodies are not used to sell songs. Men in the pop world have agency and power.

Mens bodies are not used to sell songs.

Visual kei, and every other video with a glistening male body aside, you mean.

It happened in Law and Order it must be a true story!

Well, first off, no, men and boys who are interested in pop music are not treated anywhere close to the way women are treated in games. The worst you could say is that there's a modest undercurrent of derision / social judgment for being into it because it's unmanly or effeminate, or because of the dismissive attitude that often tends to occur w/ pop music, but that's so goddamn far from the same thing it's ridiculous (& both of those things are also basically both feminist problems I think).

As to why the pop music tends to center around and be oriented towards girls & women in general... boy, that's a difficult question. One that way smarter people than me have tried to answer. I mean, it's pretty much always been that way. But what the origin is, I don't know, except that I guess there wasn't really anything around which provided the same kind of narrative and appeal to girls and women. So it filled a void.

Well, Kesha isn't having the greatest time:

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/posts/la-et-ms-kesha-career-doomed-lawsuit-dr-luke-remains-unresolved-20150924-story.html

I think the economic value of female pop stars and female pop fans is definitely recognized (unlike, perhaps, that of female gamers?) but I don't think that's automatically better if it means comoditization and exploitation are going to occur.

I mean, the reality is that commoditization and exploitation occur in all sectors of society.

There's a few stories of males in pop getting harassed by producers as well, and Kesha isn't hte first lady with this story... Show buisness seems to set up a power structure that makes this very easy.

Any power structure in a patriarchal society makes this easy unless you have widespread awareness and people expressly guarding against it.

I'm just trying to come up with any reason you would be drawn to this conclusion. This seems like a really huge leap.
