Favorites: Alistair, Sten, Zevran, Varric, Aveline, Cassandra, Iron Bull, Dorian, Solas, Leliana

Least favorite: Sebastian, Oghren (Oghren was fun in small doses, but I kept him in my party only when necessary), Morrigan (I like Morrigan, but she disapproves of everything in Origins)

Least favourites: Alastair and Cullen.

Fenris and Cole are both great too, but my list was already too long...

Blackwall I like just not enough to be a favorite.

I admit, I still haven't played the second two games (yeah, lame I know), but I have some damn strong opinions based on the info I have read about those games.

Favs: Alistair, Awakening!Anders.

Least: Solas, Vivienne.

I feel I hate Solas for totally superficial reasons - I think he's ugly. Vivienne I hate because I have read about her politics.

Awakening!Anders was glorious. I actually thought DA2 Anders was an interesting character, but he did some shit that I was not okay with. lmao.

I often find myself irritated or angry at Vivienne because of her politics and the way she treats people, but I can't say I hate her because she isn't entirely bad. She has good moments and bad moments as characters do, and she's a trooper and a badass so I have a certain amount of respect for her despite the fact that we see eye to eye on almost nothing.

Solas...I love because I think he's far more interesting/fun to have around than expected, and he has lots of insightful things to say. He's got good stories. His story is exciting. If you don't like his appearance...not much can be done about that, but I don't really understand why you would hate him solely for that reason. (Not that you aren't allowed, and there are reasons I could understanding for people hating him...just saying.)

Well on both Solas and Vivienne, I do keep the thought in mind that they are something I will just have to put up with when I actually get around to playing the game, and I may even see the good bits about them when I do.

Well since this is a BioWare game you can just leave them out of your party. For every playthrough I have a 'main party' depending on what class I am and who I'm romancing, so maybe if you don't hate them entirely you can eventually bring them along, see if they're better than expected.
