I usually snatch time whenever I can. The last couple of years, I've found that going to bed early and waking up early gives me about three hours of uninterrupted NaNo time before my day actually has to start. That's usually more than enough time to pound out those 1667 words.

So it's more a "look at your schedule and figure out where you can squeeze in a window of opportunity", even if it's only fifteen minutes or half an hour.

Also, save time wasting activities until you've done your quota. That means T.V., non-novel-research internet surfing, etc.

AYRT - Thanks for the tips! I am definitely going to be cutting back on LJ time and such.
