So apparently men are getting the better end of the marriage deal. Married men are happier, live longer and are having to contribute less and less financially as women are being forced to take on the breadwinner roles more and more...

And still they don't want to get married. What is wrong with them?

They do want to get married though. Those articles on declining marriage rates neglect to mention that said decrease is caused by a declining desire among _women_, particularly working class women, to get married. Not men.

That makes sense. If women are having to be the bread winners, then men have no reasons to be anything other than couch dwelling schubbs, I can see why women wouldn't want to live with that.

But really, who gives a fuck why? They want. Let them do it.

I do wonder this sometimes, women do something like 70% of the housework even when both people have full time jobs, women get stuck doing everything for kids, women get blamed for anything that goes wrong in their household, women get shit if their kids aren't perfect, meanwhile men get a pat on the back for washing one dish or remembering their kids' names. seems like a raw deal. I think this is the reason many women in Japan aren't eager to get married, it's a fucking rip-off for them.

An aside, but:

What do you mean by married? Married once then stayed together until older age?

I'm sure the statistics are different for both men and women who have been through the stress of divorce once or twice as is getting more common.
