(Anonymous) 2015-10-18 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)But if writers simply express that their characters seem to "reveal themselves" to the author in their mind or something. That's actually a feeling writers can get. I have and writer friends of mine have said so as well.
There's a clear difference between them and the latter is hard to explain properly.

JKR is not as bad, but I did cringe a bit at the wording of the announcement which Harry's son was sorted into and the like.
