Only a few hours left until the trailer! Has anyone here bought tickets (mainly for everyone NOT in the US...we don't get it until another hour or so)

Congrats to Star Wars fans! For the rest of us, let us try to weather the storm as best as possible. *blacklists Star Wars and prepares to stay off reddit*

Not yet because I don't know where I"m going to be in December. Really excited for the trailer, though.

This will probably be the first time in a long time I'm watching an NFL game at home. Just to see the Star Wars trailer and find out what time tickets go on sale.

I thought they were going on at 7 Central, but I'm not sure anymore.

I heard that it's not supposed to be until after the trailer airs, which is at halftime. The game starts at 8:15 Eastern and halftime's around 9:30ish, give or take.

Who knows.

Scratch that, they're already on sale in NYC and some theaters have sold out already.

They're not in my town yet but I'm keeping watch!

I have a feeling some theaters won't release the tickets this early anyway.

Yep; I got the email saying they're up but my town is still not there.

Uuugh. This better not be true upstate.

For the ones that have it on sale in NYC, they're almost sold out through Sunday already. People are crazy.

Or something. Fandango is dead, as are most theater websites right now. It's a little crazy.

Yeah Fandango is dead for a while now. However, one of the main theaters in the area I live that has their own website is up and running. However I'm going to go see the movie that Sunday rather than on opening night because my husband refuses to go.

Welp, now I'll definitely watch it. (I will not be buying tickets yet though. I know I won't be seeing it opening day so I'll probably have to stay off tumblr for a while...)

I got tickets for the first available 3D showing! Thank god I saw this thread, I probably wouldn't have gotten through at halftime! Thanks OP!
