It's an odd thing to think about. Because, in a way, it often seems like I'm always directly observed by someone I want to convince that I'm kind and nice - specifically myself. And so I constantly worry about whether I'm actually sincere about being nice & I feel really guilty about it if I ever feel good about being nice to people.

This doesn't really have anything to do with your comment it's just something that I think about a lot okay sorry!!!
