Don't think there's any artist I look towards in particular, but I like loose and colorful painting styles. My art is very 00s anime too, but I back it with a fair bit of life drawing.

I love Rembrandt, but I don't have a chance in hell of drawing like that, especially since I go more cartoony...

If I could magically gain drawing skills, it would probably be a blend between Trina Schart Hyman's gorgeous, romantic lines, and Mike Mignola's dark, moody scenes.

I love the illustrations of Edmond Dulac, Arthur Rackham, Kay Nielsen and the Pre-Raphaelites--is that who you're thinking of?

Preraphaelites is something that can lure me to an art gallery.)
Those artists are awesome, especially Edmond Dulac.

I was thinking something along these lines, a black and white book illustration:
