Sorry anon. Can you get to a doctor and get a prescription? The cough meds on the shelf in the pharmacy really don't do much of anything. Codein cough medicine, will, though, and it will also help you sleep.

I just hate the idea of going to the doctor for something this mild. Maybe it's getting ridiculous, though...

That's a long time to be barely sleeping. I usually give a cough about a week and if it is still bad enough I can't sleep then I'll go to the doctor and get the cough medicine.
