You just have to take care of yourself... and hopefully get emotional support from people who aren't fucking insane.

This is excellent advice to live by, thank you!

Entitlement seems to be the issue. I thought maybe because I've been as helpful as I could previously when they've needed my time or someone to talk to, that they would try to do the same for me. Now I'm not sure they were ever grateful, they just expected me to be there and be convenient.
