You have a point.

But if you want to support the film without actually seeing it you could buy someone a ticket. (If you have any friends that want to see the film, that could work.)

Yeah, it's not really about supporting the film though. It's I guess more of a moral thing. The racist shitfucks throwing a fit over this film have made me so angry that I'm going to see the film just to feed my own superiority complex.

Ah, see I meant supporting the film because of the moral thing; you support the film because you're against the idea that there's anything wrong with a film having actual diversity (I honestly can't understand how someone could be against that, but people are fucking weird).

But hey man, whatever works for you! If nothing else it will be interesting to hear your take on the film.
