That's true, even though I found the execution really silly. I was more thinking of the SuperGenetic-osaurus, who was smart enough to rip out its tracking device and ~kills for fun~.

I'm not really complaining, I'm fine with my action flicks being kind of stupid.

I thought the 'kills for fun' was more because she was basically kept in a tiny cage her whole life - like how animals can be really aggressive and messed up if they're locked up without any stimulus. I mean, her enclosure didn't look that big for such a huge animal and it was clear that she was looking for a way out.

And that was kind of what I meant in that the explanation was good enough for me to suspend disbelief. They mentioned in the film about all the different DNA they used and since they made mention of it, I could go with it. Some of the science in the other JPs was dodgy so I can just shrug at it the way I do for other sci-fi "magic".

It was less she kills for fun and more she had no concept of only killing to eat. She had zero socialization.
