(I've never liked how the Sith were framed as always inevitably turning evil. I don't agree with any of their ideas, but they're basically the same ideas as the songs of Rush, and I don't expect Neil Peart to murder children anytime soon.)

I utterly adore the Sith Code, and despise how "passion" is interpreted only as hatred and rage. It is beautiful, and empowering, and argh.

I wonder what you'd make of the Night Watch series by Sergei Lukyanenko. Light and Dark in that series are a lot like Jedi and Sith, but it's not good versus evil at all. (Honestly, it got too sad for me.)
