You can use any food for emotional fulfillment (or any object... or any person... anything really). That's not the problem. It's a symptom of the problem.

Find something that fulfills you emotionally (in a healthy way), and don't make excuses not to do it. If you aren't physically able to do it right at the moment, make a plan to work toward it, and actually go through with it.
