He's too old and has multiple chins.

So? Lots of people are attracted to someone older then them. It isn't a big deal.

The chin thing seems silly to focus on, imo. Again, so? If you think he's handsome what difference does that make?

Plus, James Spader DOES have a hot voice. (I would love for him to voice a BioWare character. Unlikely but: GIVE IT TO ME.)

I need him to do an audiobook. He did a Koontz novel in the 90s, but he needs to do one NOW. His voice is 100x hotter now than it was when he was younger (though it's always been great).

I was not aware he'd done an audio book, but if it was that long ago his voice was much different.

Voices are like faces in that sometimes they get better after they mature. His voice especially is one that stands out as being alluring.

Ngl, I was meh about Age of Ultron but his voice made Ultron super sexy, hence why he should totally be a love interest in a BioWare game.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2LNFQ9JGdUHKHxXJ0ZLl9mJCeOy50sfS Someone uploaded it to YouTube. There's a big difference in his voice & to my ears, it's not a very well done audiobook, but still. I'll take what I can get, lol.

His voice is ridiculously alluring. The #1 reason I was so excited about Age of Ultron was Spader's involvement & he did not disappoint. The movie did, but he certainly didn't.

(Hey, Vader!)

Late, but thanks! I'll try to give this a listen to.

I thought AOU was a pretty disappointing film and I wasn't impressed by Ultron himself, but his voice was beautiful. Just beautiful. Made me more attracted to Ultron than I'd like to admit.

Hahaha, I'm so there, OP. I had a sexual fantasy about Alan Shore from Boston Legal once. Spader's voice. Nnnggghhh.

And I totally get the flip side too; he's totally not someone I find physically attractive. And yet...

(Anonymous) 2015-10-25 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Oh and Alan shore was such a magnificent bastard. Plus he was still kinda hot then, IMHO.

I'm rewatching Boston Legal & am more in love with Alan Shore than I was the first time I watched it. *sighs dreamily* When he lowers his voice when he's sexxing up the ladies. . . .yeahhhh.

Well, seeing as you will never have a relationship with the guy IRL, even if you are underage now, James Spader is not "too old" to find sexually attractive. The heart wants what it wants, bb.

Speaking as someone who has crushed on him since the 80s, seeing him losing his hair was initially dismaying, but he's still the same criminally sexy man he's always been. All he has to do is look at a person with those half-lidded eyes, and smile, and knees start trembling.

PS. He was so young, vulnerable, and beautiful here, my lord --https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q52yy8APHLU (skip to 1:19:00 -1:31:00 if you're short on time :) )

I wasn't attracted to him at all, but then someone suggested I watch Secretary and now I'm in too deep.

He's still Spader, he will always be Spader. Dick Van Dyke still makes me a giggly mess just as much as he does when I watch the Dick Van Dyke Show or Mary Poppins. For some, age doesn't change shit.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-25 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
Just go with it, OP.

UGH I have such a thing for Spader. It absolutely started with his voice, but now it's just him. Tbh. No shame, OP

Gods, Spader used to be beautiful, but he's grown old. Well, older. Still sexy, but no longer the absolutely beauty that he was.
