[The Sum Of Us/Russell Crowe]

I darkly remember having watched this film once on TV.

All that I still remember about the plot is that one scene where the father is complaining to his son that he's always shoving away his plate in a dismissive manner as soon as he is done eating.

It's about a young gay man (Russell Crowe) and his relationship with his loving and accepting father. It's really quite a good little Australian movie.

(It's on youtube in its entirety: The Sum Of Us (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LQnKG96uOM))

Ah yes, now I'm starting to remember more clearly.
Thanks for the link, I think I would like to rewatch this one.

Is Russell Crowe more likely to regret this than, say, Romper Stomper?

Ph-sh! Who cares what actors think about their movies? They're out there. Can't be worse than N. Cage's vampire film.

Russell Crowe spoke about an experience on this film on The Graham Norton Show and he didn't seem to regret it, so take that as you will.

+1, John Polson said Russell was the #1 guest star he wanted for Elementary (he's now a director/producer) so I'm guessing that it's all good there.

All I remember from Russell Crowe going on the Graham Norton Show is when Norton asked the two female guests whether they were single (they both were), and Crowe chimed in and said, "Wait a minute; I'm single." It was after Cameron Diaz went on and on about public hair, too...

All I remember about this movie is that it's a gay film.

Never liked Russell Crowe much. He sorta looks like a trucker/butcher/whatever working class hyper masculine occupation you can think of.

And he has a BIG attitude problem.
