Because OBVIOUSLY I would link you to the porn with dogs section of reddit. They are definitely going to be the ones to help you find a children's book.

NAYRT
They obviously don't feel comfortable going to that site, there is no need to insult them for feeling that way. It does have a reputation.

No. Obviously they are ignorant if they think reddit is just porn and misogyny. I am surprised they are on the internet at all considering most people think it is just cat videos and porn. They must have really liked cat videos to take that first leap onto the interwebs.

I went ahead and posted the search for anon. Hopefully someone replies because children deserve awesome books that their family share because it made an impact on them.

Thank you, and I am sorry I was so short with you before. No, it isn't as slick looking or as realistic looking as that. It was definitely more kiddie looking.

Okay. Any more info I can add?

And you should really take a chance at reddit. There are many, many wonderful places and resources. Basically try and find smaller subreddits.

Here are some related to fantasy creatures.

Other than my reading it in the mid-80s and some of the pictures were vaguely reminiscent of Raymond Briggs works. I'm in the UK if that makes a difference, sometimes it did back then.

Sorry, but no. It is not childish enough, this was a kids book aimed squarely at kids.
