Every once in a while I'll see a post about bi Bond cross my dash and IA, that would be awesome. I know it wouldn't please a lot of people so it'll probably be a while before it becomes possible, but that would feel like a big step to me, as far as representation goes.

(As for Sherlock, I headcanon him as asexual but in love with John. I don't think either of those things will ever be canon, but whatever, lol.)

AYRT. Actually, when I say my headcanon for Sherlock is that he's gay, I guess that's a bit inaccurate. I think my headcanon is actually that he's homo demisexual and in love with John. I still think of him as gay in the sense that, if he were going to swing in a direction, it would absolutely be men, one hundred percent. But whenever I read a characterization of him where he's just sort of casually attracted to men and doesn't act on it, that feels off to me. I can only really see him feeling attraction towards John, and maybe Victor Trevor back in his early Uni days, if that's a part of the ACD canon one wants to run with.

I also see him as sexually repressed, but it's not like I think he's demisexual because he's repressed. :/ Just that he happens to be both demisexual and repressed.

So my headcanon is not the same as yours, but it's a lot closer than my initial comment made it seem.

To be honest I have an extremely difficult time imagining Sherlock interested sexually or romantically in anyone other than John, so I guess I can see where you're coming from? I don't think he gives sex or romance much thought but I also think John is special to him and could make him reconsider some things.

I pretty much see things the same way, and "happens to be both demisexual and repressed" hits the nail on the head for a bit of headcanon that I hadn't tried to articulate before.
