As an NL West fan, I have been beyond thrilled to see the Blue Jays doing so well. The stadium was popping and honestly in that last game with the Royals, good god, THEY WANTED TO WIN. IT WAS DO OR DIE AND THEY DID NOT WANT TO GO HOME. That stolen base+ really brought a tear to my eye.

That's a low blow, yo. I don't follow baseball much, but St. Louis isn't half bad to visit. A nice bit of their tourist attractions are free (zoo, art museum, history museum) and there's the City Museum which essentially boils down to a multi-story giant building of playground for adults and kids. Microbrew scene is pretty good too.
