I'm not sure how that negates any of the prior comments.

Anon, children cannot properly consent as they do not properly understand the consequences and the result. It's not consensual. Whether he had sex by force or while tenderly whispering in the ear.

All this 'consent' talk was non existent as recently as a couple of decades ago. It may upset you to hear it, but underage girls were at it, and if the men they were gagging for were older (even way older) then so be it.

They were good times too.

And had he known the girl was a child, this would be a good point. But he didn't. For crying out loud, having sex with someone you didn't know was a minor is in no way comparable to willfully raping someone. Comparing the two is gross and insensitive.

+1

Thank you.

Nonnie, literally everyone can tell a fifteen year old when they see them. Saying "she looked older!" is a time honored excuse for people who want to fuck teenagers without consequences.

Yes, you are correct. No one looks older than they are, and no one ever looks younger, either. We all look exactly the age we are. Why, just yesterday on the train, I told a woman that she looked swell for someone who was 59.62 years of age.

The guy next to me insisted she must be older than that, but he just wanted to fuck her. Goddamn granny chasers.

I don't think literally everyone can tell with everyone fifteen, but I know if I had the opportunity to pick up someone who looked pretty young from an 18+ bar, I'd be uneasy and maybe say no unless I was more sure, no matter how much they seemed to be into it. Because I don't want to risk fucking an underage person. It's my responsibility (too).

You're hilarious in your naivete.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-27 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
No, there are numerous twenty year olds who look like teenagers and quite a few teenagers who could pass for being in their twenties.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-27 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
There are many people who do not look their age. I'm 25 but everyone thinks I'm 15. I mean, I can't even sign for packages without getting asked if my parents are home. Not long ago I was getting my hair done for college graduation and the lady thought I was graduating middle school. I don't get my bags checked at certain security gates because they assume I'm under 18. Three times people thought I had a fake ID because they didn't believe my age.

Then there is my little sister who was the opposite. She looks 5 years older than she is and everyone always thought she was the older sister.

Lots of college students look like high-schoolers and vice versa. Some people mature faster than others.

It's easy to tell when someone is young until they reach puberty. Then the ages 15-25 can appear the same depending on the person.

Man, I still sometimes get "I thought you were 18!!" (I'm also 25) and once at a restaurant I got carded and my YOUNGER brother did not. :/

Bullshit. When I was 15 I looked noticeably older.

Um... When I was 16, and in college (via our "Running Start" program that pays tuition for qualifying students 16-18), I was regularly assumed to be 21+. I had someone think I was 25. I was not the only Running Start student in that school, either, by far, and we had a lot of people who were 18-19 and going the community college/transfer route, which at that time was more sensible (not so much now, as costs have gone up). I would have been a lot less surprised if people pegged me as 18-19... but it was always 21+. Me in my icon is at 30. IDGI.

Are...you serious? People get other peoples' ages wrong all the time. Not to mention some people purposefully take advantage of that/mislead others.

(Anonymous) 2015-10-27 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe you'd have a point except for the fact that teenagers have sex drives. They have sex. Some of them might not be responsible to think of the consequences, but they still have to drive to want to have sex. If they are attracted to an older person then it is very plausible that they would lie about their age.
