There are rumors that someone's been arrested over it. I hope it's true. Maybe it'll stop the ones that are gloating over her attempt.

Now I'm thinking of that woman who made a troll journal to bully her daughter's ex-friend, who then killed herself--they couldn't make a charge stick on her, so I wonder if it'll be different with this.

If you're thinking of Megan Meier's suicide, the woman who did it may have gotten away with it, but laws were passed after that to make internet harrassment and cyberstalking/cyberbullying easier to prosecute. It's now a felony to harass a minor in Missouri and I think around half of the other states created relevant legislation because of it.

She might have got away with it then, but it doesn't mean she would today.

It seems weird that we'd have to create laws to punish that crap, doesn't it? You'd think it'd be kind of a given that if you do something that horrible to someone, you'll suffer consequences for it.

Now they're claiming that she faked her post from the hospital.

I'm not surprised. They hate her and want her to die. They'll use any excuse to keep hating her and bullying her. Then if she does die they'll talk about how they're not responsible and they never thought she would do that, etc etc. Anyone who too visibly bullied under their own name will rename and disappear.
