Re: A question, inspired by a thread from yesterday.

It's more that Judaism preserved its roots as a "tribal" religion, whereas other religions let it fall by the wayside and went proselytizing route. In today's world, though, as you can see a lot of people struggle with this idea of Judaism as something which is both a religion and an ethnicity. Might be easier for Jews if there were more religions like that, I guess.
