The end result doesn't blow my mind, but the fact that it's animated in Poser (which is really more appropriate for 3D drafting) does.

Really? I didn't know that. That got me to look at a little of the animation.

Expectations appropriately lowered!

A lot of it's quite good, but there are some hinky bits on expressive arm movements, like the clapping in the volume 3 trailer.

I'm amused at the lack of shadows, or even anything beyond flat head-on lighting, in some of the action scenes. I did that too, when I was starting on 3D art, and it took a while to get used to shadows.

It looks kind of fun.
