Stop getting so wound up about nature. Of course those other things happen. But the Department of Obvious Studies released a study just the other week (saw the headline, didn't click through so can't get specific) where they surveyed men of various age demographics, and 20 something women were their consistent top pick for desired mate.

please, there's absolutely no way for you to say conclusively that that's proof that it's "hard wired" or "nature," all that says is that people raised in THIS society find THIS age of woman most attractive. think that has anything to do with the constant marketing of "barely legal" porn? think that has anything to do with boys and men growing up seeing grisly men paired with teenagers? think that has anything to do with women being valued for their looks and little more? yeah, it's definitely 100% to do with "biology," right...

Look, you're ageist towards older men. No big deal. I learned a few years back that I'm ageist when it comes to men younger than I am. (At least when I start doing the I graduated college the year he started kindergarten.) Disappointing to know, but life is like that.

Many men are attracted to younger women. Many young women are attracted to older men. Lucky for them. Maybe you need to state upfront on your dating profile that you're ageist. The men who are unsuitable will ping you anyway, but if they can't read, they'd be unsuitable no matter what their age.
