Levi doesn't open to people much, after everything that happend to him. I hope he learns to depend more on the Eren, Mikasa and others especially Mikasa. They are both Ackermans and similar in lots of way, I think they can form a really strong bond of mentor and mentee, or even familial.

I don't think this manga needs romance, except Historia and Ymir because their relationship is integrated to their chatacter developements and the plot (and because I'm a biased shipper).

Levi is a good character, but like othres in fandom I think there are other characters that can benefit from his screentime. Like Mikasa, I appreciate the subtle development but I wish we get more scenes of her outside of protecting Eren. I also want to see more of Hanji and Moblit, in fact I don't think we ever get Hanji's backstory on why she hated titan so much? Curious about that myself. I really love Sasha and Connie, they are the usual joke characters that had got great developements. I want to see more of them, like Sasha growing to her huntress instinct and Connie's destroyed hometown. And then there's Annie in the crystal. I really need to read Lost girls.

Basically I love almost all of the cast, they are very well fleshed out and is the reason I love the manga so much. I'm so bumped for Reiner, Bertoldt and Ymir appearing again.

I'm happy that I can have this discussion with you. I find it hard to start conversations on tumblr and I'm nervous in named spaces, so being able to talk about something I love in an anonymous space is great.

You are Ketita on AO3, right? I read your fics and really love it. I love your sense of humor, Levi's and Let's do that again are favourite crack fics.

Yep, that's me! I'm glad you like my fics :D ugh I want so badly to get back to writing...

Ahhh I agree with you so much, I kept on hoping that there would be something with Levi and Mikasa, or talking about how Mikasa feels about being related to Levi. I think Mikasa really is one of the most squandered characters at the moment. She has a lot of potential, but Isayama just isn't doing anything with her.

Though personally I'm not crazy about Historia and Ymir. I don't find them very compelling, and they're a bit too selfish for me. That, and the whole plan of putting Historia on the throne was so stupid.
