He looks so much like my friend. I don't think about it as much when I watch the show because they have different voices, but that picture. :/

The coat and the smoking are making it worse. Ugh.

I don't care what anybody says, I will continue to love the first season.

I also liked the second, but it committed some major sins for a sequel series. Both for how they handled the dangling plot threads from the first season, and the "what the hell is that" moment from the end

The first season was pretty good. The second season had its moments but the plot was all over the place and the finale... did NOT help.

He really is, though at some angles there's something...odd about him. All those comments about Benedict Cumberbatch looking like an alien...I feel that way about Bill Skarsgard. Not even in a bad way, though. Like, yea, I think he looks like an alien half the time, but a pretty as hell alien. His wardrobe in this show is gorgeous and his hair is flawless and I love it when he gets to cry. He just needs to make out with Peter already... how has this not happened yet? *sigh*

But yea, the show is kind of awful and captivating at the same time, and I don't know how it does that. It must've been you who mentioned Hemlock Grove the other day in GC, right? You made me start S3. There are bits I'm really happy with, and some pretty heavy frustration. (I need Peter to have a better story-line. And more scenes with Roman, this IS the final season, right? They are wasting them by not putting them together more and not including Peter more in the supernatural arc. Still...Hemlock Grove be crazy, and that at least hasn't changed.)

He's got an interesting face. Not strictly conventionally handsome in some ways, but it's the kind of face that makes you stop and look twice. The whole series is an example of wasted potential, IMO. I wish they'd done a better job of writing the damn thing. :(

Yea, for me he's certainly attractive, no doubt about that, but he's also got unusual features. I could see how he might not be everyone's cup of tea despite the fact that he is very much mine. (Same as Cumberbatch, really.) He's striking, that's for sure.

Ain't that the truth. If the series had better writers I think it could've been pretty damn amazing, but that is not what happened, lmao.

When you finish S3 btw, I'd love to hear your thoughts! You should start a convo in GC. I'm only slightly over halfway through myself so I'm not there yet, but I'd be glad to go over it with you once I finish.

Maybe it's the eyes...he's got massive eyes. I like that about him, but it definitely gives him an unusual look.

I enjoyed S1. S1 was tolerated. S3 was so full of WTF for me.
