Steam
(Anonymous) 2015-10-27 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)Basically, any advice? What's your experience been? How does Steam work? Is there anything I should know? Do I need a Paypal account?
Re: Steam
(Anonymous) 2015-10-27 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)You don't need a Paypal account, a credit/debit card will suffice.
But I'm not in favor of Steam anyway. They've screwed me over a couple of times with games not working and them not being able to tell me how to fix them so I'm kind of done with Steam.
Re: Steam
Though I've had nothing but good experiences with Steam. It's changed my mind completely on downloading games and now 99% of stuff I get is through them.
Re: Steam
All my steam games are installed to an SSD. Make sure to set steam up to install to your chosen directory. I've had no problems with running games like this. Updates and patches will continue fine as your steam will remember which computer has what stored where. You can buy now and install later or a different computer.
