DA No, but I think they are in this case. They were best friends, research partners and teammates, and Simmons was happy with that (I just rewatched first season and they worked together so well!) but Fitz wasn't and it's creepy. And I do like him, otherwise!

No, it's creepy to then whine about it, repeatedly ask the friend out trying to wear her down, and then sulk when she's assigned to another (difficult and dangerous) assignment rather than staying around to help you. Feelings are fine, it's the way he acts on them that's the problem.

TBF, Fitz didn't know she'd left to infiltrate Hydra. From his perspective she just left because of his brain issues.

Yeah, it's so creepy to feel abandoned when you suffer brain damage and then your best friend whose always been a strong source of support for you and vice versa apparently runs out on you when you really need someone and lies about where she's going, leaving you to feel that she left because she couldn't handle your new disability, man Fitz is so terrible how dare he.
