Re: Questions Thread

I'm thinking of finally this year putting together a Wall Market Cloud cosplay (aka Miss Cloud), but I want to go a less pretty and more "how did Don Corneo buy this" route. As in, keep the combat boots and gloves and metal wrist-thing, have Buster Sword magnetized to my back.

My only debate is, should I keep the boobs, or wear a binder?
Boobs would probably be more comfortable, but I wonder if it wouldn't fit the cosplay more having Cloud "not bother" with that either and be flat-chested.

Thoughts?
/tiny, insignificant question

How about stuffing your bra in a ridiculous way, like a guy half-assing the crossdressing?

I was thinking this too. Stuff your bra full of tissues.

See, I thought of that, but this is the guy who canonically bothered to go and get a tiara and a wig and even opportunistically asked the prostitutes at the Honeybee Inn to do his makeup for him.
So I mean, I can buy a certain element of wearing his own clothes under the dress, especially since we see him pull his sword on Don Corneo - so it's got to have been with him, and that sword is not something you can hide.

But given the fact that he did put some actual effort into this, I feel like he'd either have stuffed his bra properly, or just decided to hell with it.

Though idk, that's just my interpretation, haha.

I don't know, Don Corneo's Choice Cloud gets very into the details of cross-dressing successfully, and seems completely self-motivated to do it. I could see him badly stuffing a bra. Obviously the scene is supposed to be comical anyway, with Don Corneo describing Cloud as a "healthy looking girl" rather than cute or sexy, but hey. I'd say a motivated but still masculine looking drag queen would be the most accurate.

See, though, because he does show some motivation I wasn't sure if I shouldn't just have the chest look normal.
I was thinking him half-assing it not so much in a "this is not convincingly female" way, but more in a "this is a soldier in a dress (which apparently Don Corneo thinks is female)" kind of way. So I wanted to leave in the various military elements.

I don't know if the concept will "read" properly, though, either way.

Use a sports bra or two maybe? Depending on how much boob you've got that can flatten them out quite a lot without being terribly uncomfortable. Maybe it will

*Maybe it will look like you just have some well-trained pecs?

It's more of a conceptual question. I don't mind binding if I decide that's the way to go, but I'm wondering which will look better.
Unfortunately, sports bras don't really flatten me enough. I think it's better to make an all-or-nothing decision...

eta: and they won't look like pecs, because my waist is too narrow. When I bind I usually have to pad my waist a little to hide my figure.

I'd instead look into buying/making some kind of ott muscle shirt. So like, muscley chest, bulging biceps, etc. Then, depending on your chest size, you could jsut fit inside it/wear a sports bra?

I always wondered how Corneo missed Cloud's giant fucking arm muscles, myself. He's pretty buff in the original game.

You know, I was actually thinking about that!
If you take game mechanics seriously, Cloud takes off the dress and is wearing his own clothes and weapons underneath. So I was kind of going for a "Cloud wearing all his weapons and armor under the dress" version, only with the sword on the outside because it's so big.

I wonder if I could get a muscle shirt that would do the biceps, though. That could be a great addition.
