They're seriously the worst.

It was so bad that I'd stopped talking to all my other friends because this person had me convinced that talking to anyone else but them was doing something wrong, that I had to constantly be on call to talk them down from crisis after crisis. I finally reconnected with them after cutting this person loose, and the one -- whom I've known/been talking to for like 8 years now -- said and I quote "oh my god you're back, I finally have my friend back."
