If RPF were written of you, what would you want it to be?

Assuming it has to have some kind of real life basis to be considered RPF and not purely fiction, however minimal

So it can't be RPF set in a fantasy world. :( I wanted a RPF AU where after my death, I come back Phoenix style. But instead of being evil/good I just spend my time cooking food easily and avoiding my responsibilities.

A while back I was in a fandom where they wrote RPF of some of the BNFs. I was once features as a minor character in one of the fics. All I did was say a rape joke, something that anyone who has known me for five seconds would know I'd never do.

So I suppose... anything as long as it's IC?

The kind of ridiculous over-the-top Gary Stu fanfics that used to be really popular in the HP fandom (and IIRC, the Naruto fandom as well). The ones where Harry (or Naruto) suddenly gets a huge power boost and is the strongest, toughest, coolest, most powerful, most badass mofo ever and all the attractive female characters are part of his harem.

I always get a kick out of reading those fics, because they're so stupid and funny, and most of them are written completely earnestly with not a shred of irony or self-awareness. I would love it if someone wrote something like that about me.

Uh, well, I wouldn't want it based in RL (other than my personality; get that right and they could change everything else), so...

I mean if someone wanted to write a coffee shop AU then whatever, I think it's a bit boring but some people are fond of those.

I would rather be placed in a sky pirate AU or the X-Men universe with some unusual but useful power.

YES. ALL OF IT WITH EVERYONE. Ok...not everyone, but some *choice* everyones. That I probably never met.

Especially one that involves a volatile but super passionate relationship and one that involves the truest love you ever saw, like, it makes the Notebook or whatever reference look like a puddle in comparison to the unending chasm that is our love, which coincidentally has passion written like Song of Songs, and all the things there ever were....

Vethica, you get me. Our RPFs would rec one another, in the A/N before AND after the fic.

Considering I was a minor character in someone's RPF of a local rock band, which they insisted on making us read and giving a copy of to the band, I'd be just as creeped out as I was then. I mean, we mostly just hung out smoking pot like we always do, but they heavily implied they thought I was in a relationship with my brother. They don't even get the excuse of not knowing, they actually referenced the fact we're siblings.

here's the plot.
An urban setting at first. Then a group of friends and I went on trip to the seaside. There's a thief aloof who stole an ancient vase from a private collection.
We happened to be there at the time so we were questioned by Lestrade.
Later that night we sneaked in to look for clues because the weather was nice and we read too many crime books. So we found some footprints, etc, etc.
A guy in our group of 4 betrayed everybody for money, so the thief threatened us hoping we'll leave it alone. I recorded him on my phone and gave the record to Lestrade who arrested the guy. Alas, the vase'd been broken. As we talked to the private colection currator we noticed a similar vase on the shelf. Turned out it was the original and the stolen one was a copy. Someone else was going to steal the vase, most likely someone working there...

It's not the most realistic but what if I had friends and I could go on vacation.)

I'm completely okay with people writing RPF about me, but there's nothing I can think of that I would actually want to read.

It's easier to list the stuff I wouldn't be okay with, such as fics that depict me sexually assaulting someone, or fics that depict me being sexually assaulted and liking it. A big nope on anything like that.

Knowing the internet I'd probably be in some dumb coffee shop AU. I probably wouldn't even be the main character.

But ideally, I'd dig some space adventures.
