How's your weekend been? As planned? Good? Bad?

Mine has been both good and bad.

Good:
Went shopping and bought brown jeans, a Star Wars shirt actually cut for a woman's body, and a corset.
Came up with an awesome fic idea. I've gotten two and a half chapters written so far and I've got ideas for 18 chapters now. I'm really excited about it.

Bad:
My mother went off on a homophobic rant and pretty much confirmed that if I end up with a woman she'll disown me.
I've been in so much pain today I had to take strong painkillers which are making me feel sick.

Also, I sometimes think you might secretly be my girlfriend. She just found out she didn't pass the Bar and her parents don't know I exist because she's still partially dependent on them and is afraid of how they'll react.

Quite good. Calm. Relaxing.
Watched a movie. Picked some berries in the garden, fall weather is mild and some are still ripening, even if it probably won't last much longer now. Started my NaNoWriMo, only wrote 1450 words but it's a start and I'd better not rush things yet.

Eh. It was pretty stressful with all the social interaction I had to do. There is a bunch of leftover candy in the house which sucks as well.

But my nephew was an adorable Captain America and (for a costume I threw together that day) I pull off Tina too well.

I goofed off way too much, and got into a dumb slump about not having anyone to talk to because my friends and family on the other side of the world are too busy. I really meant to do more of my assignment which is due on Friday e_e It's not that I've reached critical status yet, I'm just stunned by my fantastical ability to procrastinate.

Mostly as planned, though a couple people flaked out on me. Goth Christmas was pleasant, watched a couple favorite X-Files eps, but we had very few kids actually show up, leaving us with a ton of candy we'll have to figure out what to do with. (I have some ideas...)

The time switch is weird. I'm not used to being up this early.

Got a good running start on my NaNo (which I plan to use to slam down rough drafts of the remaining chapters of the novel I've been working on).

Ate some delicious cheese with my tea.

Watched the first hour of the Berserk remake on Netflix last night, and now I'm glad I didn't buy it.

It's been basically as planned. A relaxing weekend because I have something planned pretty much every weekend after this until New Years, it's crazy. Somehow life got busy so I'm enjoying my last weekend doing nothing.

I made some fantastic pasta yesterday (orecchiette in a tomato sausage sauce), and I've also been getting in a lot of really strong work masturbation-wise, so it's been a good weekend overall.

Good!

Went to a small impromptu Halloween party last night and had a lot of fun. Sat up until about 4 AM watching horror movies. Then I started my NaNo novel and am a little over 2600 word in now. Hoping to get to 3000 today.

Good:
- The Star Wars marathon I thought sure was canceled because friend was ill happened anyway, cos friend's fever died down. Yay!

Bad:
- Just found out our government is taking away support for medical costs and as someone who is poor and who has to eat meds for the rest of my life, I've been bummed out and stressed about that. Yes, that'll save our economy, taking away from the people who are ill. /sarcasm

I accomplished everything I set out to do, schoolwork-wise, but it still feels like I could have done more. (She says, as she should be finishing up her memo)

Also, I went to an amazing Halloween party, but the combination of smoke and having screaming-over-the-noise conversations with people means that sore throat got even worse and now I've lost my voice. It was such a strange feeling to wake up after a night out and feel awful for something totally unrelated to alcohol consumption.

Good thus far. Didn't run out of candy last night, and all of my work is pretty well under control.

Wanted to get out to do some things, but the weather isn't really cooperating, so that's a bit of a bummer... but I can always hope for the best tomorrow.

We didn't get a single trick or treater. We purposefully bought candy none of us likes, so we now have all the sour candy and aren't sure what to do with it.

The rain and weather ruined everything, so I'm going to try and cram Sat and Sun's cancelled plans into Tuesday.

Stupid weather. If you're going to be wet, at least cool down a bit.

I'm still waiting for a long argument to end. I've got a regular Skype chat with my girlfriend and some of our friends and one of them was kicked out for being really creepy on the subject of rape. I thought it was over but my girlfriend just showed me some of what he said in private after he was banned and it got to the point where I'm just laughing because of when he complained about her and her "lesbian lover". He was just reminded I'm not a lesbian a few days ago but I guess the alliteration was too tempting to resist.

Eh, it was ok. Boyfriend and I were supposed to meet up with friends at Liseberg amusement park, for the Halloween special, but time constraints and too many people made sure that we didn't even see them until closing time.
The Doll Cabinet and Hotel Gasten ( horror houses) were fun, though.

Did another ghost house experience the next day, which was nice, then watched "Session 9".

Pretty good! Friday my brother came into town and it's the first time I've seen him since he moved out in February, except when we all met in a different state for a funeral. We had a yummy chili dinner with family and then watched some Star Wars, and we'll be spending more time together this coming week. Yesterday I went to locals, paid into a sneak peak and pulled shitty, which sucks, but had a good time, then went out for dinner and drinks with my friends. (We were going to go to a haunted house, but they turned out to be all too expensive.) One of those friends I'm not sort-of-dating. It's interesting. I usually have a good time on Saturdays. Today I actually got up and went to church, even though the service I wanted to go to was a bit early (thank youuu, Fall Back) and I went to a Friends church for the first time in years, and it was pretty great, even though I might not go back to that particular church. And now I'm relaxing and spending time online for the first time in like four days since I've been so busy! And about to make some progress on cleaning my apartment, I hope.

So basically, as planned, and good :)

It would have been great if I hadn't gotten sick - Halloween parties are less fun when you're emptying your sinuses out into a tissue every few minutes.

Not bad. Tripped on acid (DRUGS ARE BAD KIDS!) for the first time ever right before a horror movie marathon, not the best of ideas. Haven't been to sleep yet.

I'm so sorry, anon. I lost a cat a few months ago, so I know what you are going through. Losing a pet is the worst. I wish I could hug you right now.
