I like live action, but my tastes seem to run to porn that is at least 10 years old in straight porn. Mostly because I find things like spitting and ass to mouth and squirting really gross. Also, I really like anal in straight porn for some reason. And anything involving breasts because while I notice butts more on men I notice breasts more on women. No rimming, though. I only like rimming in gay porn.
In gay porn I'll take whatever. If I find the dudes attractive, I'll watch it. There are only a few lesbian porn videos that I like mostly because most of it bugs me so much with how it so male gazy and the women don't seem to actually be enjoying themselves.
I tend to like fanfic more than erotica. With erotica there are only certain authors I like because there are certain tropes throughout the genre that I can't stand. And I tend to prefer BDSM erotica to supposedly vanilla erotica because the D/s dynamics are almost always there anyway but without the structure.
In fanfic, I go for specific pairings or specific kinks. I like power dynamics a lot. There are some pairings I will read everything for and others I need to be a certain way to enjoy.
There are lots of things that have caused my preferences. Certainly the beginnings were the romance novels of my mothers I snuck as a kid and read the sex scenes of. I think my growing interest for RL power dynamics has increased my desire for extreme power dynamics in fics (and vice versa). I think that the first few live action porn videos I ever watched certainly probably affected the things I like (the first vid I ever watched was anal, and I wonder if that might be part of my fascination)?

Sometimes porn parodies seem to buck trends and do some original scenes (and at least they usually have some kind of humour and more of an attempt at a plot than other porn) but even then it's very rare that I'll find something that doesn't automatically make me think: they filmed this scene for like three hours and everyone is just sore and tired right now, and it shows.
