Medal ribbon ID needed

(Anonymous) 2015-11-01 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Can anyone identify the ribbons on the chest of this guy, please:

Sorry about the Daily (hate) Mail link, but it is the clearest image. I need to know the ribbons for a fic. Character is a UK Prison Officer in the 1970s, if that helps the ID. Thanks all.

LOL, thought it was going to be some really nasty porn but got genuine photograph. I don't know about the metals, probablys some sort of long service award. Prison officers don't get to wear real metals.

Looking for myself, I can see that he has:

1939-45 Star: http://www.medals.org.uk/united-kingdom/united-kingdom045.htm
What looks to be the Africa Service Medal and the War Medal 1939-45 http://www.medals.org.uk/united-kingdom/united-kingdom-ribbons5.htm

Second row is:

Not sure about the first medal
What looks to be the Korea medal and the UN Korea medal http://www.medals.org.uk/united-kingdom/united-kingdom-ribbons5.htm
The last medal I'm not sure on as it's asymmetrical and it's throwing me off.

Ah, thank you. My colour vision is completely screwed, so I cannot see gradations in colour properly which makes trying to ID things like this near impossible. Thank you for that so far.

If it helps, it's obvious that he's earned most of these medals in the 40s and 50s, which might narrow things down.

I found the others!

This picture is a much better view of the medals, and I got one or two wrong, so here goes the proper list:

First row is the 1939-45 Star, the Defence Medal (not the Africa Service Medal as I previously stated) and the War Medal 1939-45.

Second row is the General Service Medal 1918-1962, the Korea Medal, the UN Korea Medal, and lastly... what looks to be the Jubilee medal, 1977, which was awarded on the 25th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's rule.
