Written and 2D(pictures or animated) work best for me, mostly because I like to detach myself completely from rl with porn and both of those allow me to do that easily(some of the stuff I like I would not want to see acted out on a real person, even though it would be fake it'd still bother me).

Live-action does work for me sometimes but het is hit or miss a lot of the time, it's either m/m or f/f that will do anything.
