An ex-friend of mine lied about rape. Like, bald-faced lied. A guy she was interested in wasn't into her, started dating another girl, and she was so pissed off about it that she started telling everyone that he raped her. She told me point-blank, while laughing, that of course it was a lie, but it was funny to see people react to it and it "made him look bad."

Police got involved because our school is super tough on even rumors of sexual assault, and thanks to all the texts about it she sent me, thank god that poor guy was absolved. The rumors still hurt him, though.

So, basically, fuck right the hell off.
