Right, well screw those fans. I actually got into the show partly because of a friend but also because of an article defending Pearl from her fandom assigned status of a monster, (and this was even before the fusion fiasco with Garnet)... And I drew a lot of personal strength from watching her overcome her emotional dependency issues (or at least managing them)...

People on Tumblr tend to run to hot or too cold.
