Perhaps something to keep in mind later down the track. In the meantime, maybe ask your partner to clarify what they mean by "rape"? It could be anything from a sincere uncomfortableness with sex to social stigma to a current mood/illness/stress.

Even if it's the only way to fix it? Look, you said leaving her is not an option. If you really wanna stay with her and work through it, you may have to get counseling.

They've heard crazier, more fucked-up things. Trust me.

Another thought anon, but you could go see a relationship counselor in a different town? If it helps give you some distance, but relationships are the kind of detailed thing where there's no harm in getting a third party to help broach communications and ease you guys through things.
