Yeah, I'm used to Windows 7, I'm keeping it.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-04 12:25 am (UTC)(link)But if you're running Windows 7, I'm not sure. Windows 7 is a really stable OS, and will have all the drivers. I might hold off for a while before upgrading to 10, just to let any of the bugs get worked out and wait for the newer drivers to be released.

(Anonymous) 2015-11-04 06:30 am (UTC)(link)Windows 7 is a mature, stable operating system. Windows 10 is barely out of beta. It has a lot of potential and I think it can get there eventually, but if you go into it thinking you'll have as good an experience as Windows 7 you're going to be disappointed.
And I'm one of the people who didn't hate 8 (8.1, anyway - the original version was just plain terrible) but the UI in 10 is definitely superior. I upgraded both of my computers from 8.1 and I'm really happy with it.
