Text: I have a kink for something innocuous that happily shows up a fair bit in media (along the lines of foot fetishism). Unfortunately, my favorite actor has never done anything related to my kink. However, he has been in numerous projects where there was the possibility of my kink turning up, but it never gets addressed.

I hate myself for it, but it's gotten to the point where I'm starting to wonder if he also has my kink, and thus gets self-conscious about taking on roles that have that element.

Realistically, I know it just hasn't happened yet, and I'm just hyper-aware of missed opportunities. But I can't stop myself from wondering. And then I feel bad about it.

Out of curiosity, what is the appeal of sneezing? I feel like I can "get" the appeal in a lot of fetishes, even when I don't have them myself, or even find them a turn off, but this is one that I don't really understand. Like, I was surprised to find out it was a thing, because it just never would have occurred to me.

Fellow fetishist - can't speak for everyone, but there's a huge aspect of loss-of-control that appeals to a lot of people, not specifically the germs or anything. In fact, a lot of us (myself included) are decidedly squicked out by real-life contagion.

The thing is, the reason it's a secret (in addition to the tinhat theory I'm embarrassed about having) is that if I mentioned the actor, all it would take is one Google search and my username would be revealed. Which would rather defeat the purpose.

Fake sneezing due to the character having a cold or allergies. It probably wouldn't be a real sneeze, but assuming the actor does a halfway decent job at the body language and the sound, it can be just as hot as the real thing.
